# Versioning | CUR enrichment reference

How enrichment versions are managed.

## What is versioned [#what-is-versioned]

Every enrichment run is pinned to a specific set of versions:

* **Enrichment engine**: the pipeline code that processes your data
* **Methodology data**: the per-SKU electricity, water and embodied-emissions factors
* **Grid carbon intensity data**: the regional grid factors

Greenpixie records which versions ran for every enrichment job, so any output can be traced back to the exact engine and data that produced it.

## How upgrades happen [#how-upgrades-happen]

Versions are upgraded as coordinated releases rather than piecemeal. Your enrichments stay on a pinned version set until Greenpixie migrates the connection to a newer release, so results remain consistent day to day.

Material changes to the methodology itself are governed, documented and versioned as described in [Governance and Methodology Changes](/methodology/cloud/governance).

If you need to know which versions currently apply to your enrichments, for example for an audit, ask your Greenpixie contact.
