In light of this, we’ve used our website carbon calculator (check out how it works here) to measure and rank the websites of more than 1000 of the world’s top Venture Capital companies by their digital carbon emissions. The problem of digital carbon is often not taken into account by businesses when measuring their sustainability, so we want to raise awareness of the fact that their digital activities have an impact too!

Below we have showcased the 20 lowest carbon websites we measured, that use green servers, minimalist design and tight coding practices to achieve the top marks in our research.
