Standards alignment, validation, and review controls.
9.1 Standards Alignment
The methodology is aligned to the GHG Protocol and prepared with reference to ISO 14064-1. Its treatment of end of life follows the GHG Protocol Product Life Cycle Accounting and Reporting Standard. It forms part of the Greenpixie Methodology for Cloud Emission Measurement.
9.2 Data Source Records
Greenpixie records the source of each figure the methodology uses.
9.3 Comparison Against Published Product Footprints
Greenpixie compares the figure this methodology produces for the NVIDIA H100 and B200 accelerators against one eighth of the total NVIDIA publishes for the eight-accelerator HGX baseboard built on each. Those are the same footprints Greenpixie derives the accelerator memory rate, board value, and cooling solution value from, as described in Section 7.3. Greenpixie records the direction and size of any difference.
9.4 Internal Review
Greenpixie reviews any change to the die coefficient table, the component coefficients, the transport and end-of-life rates, or the assumed hardware lifetime before release. It records the direction and size of the resulting change to published figures.
