Standards alignment, validation, and review controls.
9.1 Standards Alignment and Verification
The methodology is aligned to the GHG Protocol and prepared with reference to ISO 14064-1. An independent verification of the Greenpixie Methodology was conducted in accordance with ISO 14064-3 at a limited level of assurance, concluding that the methodology conforms with the requirements of ISO 14064-1 and finding no evidence that the GHG statement is not materially correct, is not a fair representation of the GHG data and information, or has not been prepared in accordance with ISO 14064-1.
9.2 Data Source Verification
Greenpixie's compute electricity data sources are aligned with methodologies used by authoritative bodies including the US EPA, the EU Ecodesign Regulation, and ISO/IEC 21836:2020. GPX Grid's methodology and data selection are validated in collaboration with academic partners.
9.3 Academic and Technical Review
The methodology is informed by named technical advisors and academic collaborators, including Dr Shaolei Ren at the University of California, Riverside, for water consumption.
9.4 Regulatory Advisory
Regulatory alignment is informed by named regulatory advisors, including Markus Zeitzen, Nordic ESG Lead at DnV, for corporate assurance and standardisation, and Pietro Bertazzi, Global Policy Director at CDP, for international advocacy.
