Versioning

What is versioned

Every enrichment run is pinned to a specific set of versions:

• Enrichment engine: the pipeline code that processes your data
• Methodology data: the per-SKU electricity, water and embodied-emissions factors
• Grid carbon intensity data: the regional grid factors

Greenpixie records which versions ran for every enrichment job, so any output can be traced back to the exact engine and data that produced it.

How upgrades happen

Versions are upgraded as coordinated releases rather than piecemeal. Your enrichments stay on a pinned version set until Greenpixie migrates the connection to a newer release, so results remain consistent day to day.

Material changes to the methodology itself are governed, documented and versioned as described in Governance and Methodology Changes.
